2012 TMNT Action Figure Pictures Now Online

With Toy Fair fast approaching, MTV Geek has put up an exclusive preview of the 2012 line of TMNT figures from Playmates. There are two links you want to check out: Toys based on the new Nickelodeon CGI series and TMNT Classics.

I am particularly fond of the basic Turtles figures from the new show, but everything looks really amazing! And, if you look closely on the picture of the Sewer Lair Playset on the first link, you'll see figures from what will probably be wave 2, including Splinter, Shredder, and April O'Neil!

Be sure to check out both links for a look at everything, including vehicles and talking figures! The information given to us from Playmates at the Fan Preview Event last year was that these would be in stores in August 2012.

  2. One of those looks suspiciously like a tiny, skinny Krang (the one near the railing).

The other one looks like a classic Foot Soldier.

Have to say, I'm super excited about these. The 'three toes' are far, far less noticeable on the white-eyed standard figures. Oh man. So cool.

  5. I always wondered why the Turtles had three fingers but only two toes. Either way it makes no difference to me and these are simultaneously completely badass and totally adorable at the same time, especially Mikey's big blue bambi eyes and freckles. If they play their cards right they might just have the spear counterpart to My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, a show designed to sell toys to young boys but with a massive number of adult female fans.

    1. If a toe is all it takes to "ruon" your childhood you're childhood must have been pretty damn sucky to begin with.

  7. I love the four basic Turtle figures (even with the third toe). Too bad they won't actually look that good in the new show. And what in the world did they do to Splinter?
