Season 6 DVD of Original TMNT Cartoon Announced is reporting the release of Season 6 of the original TMNT cartoon series on DVD this April. Unfortunately for the TMNT completest, there continue to be some overlooked episodes that don't seem to be planned for this upcoming release.

With only 16 episodes planned for this release, that means that once again, "Once Upon A Time Machine" and "Planet of the Turtleoids" will not be included. This is especially bad as season 6 contains a follow-up episode to "Planet of the Turtleoids."

TMNT fans are highly encouraged to contact Lionsgate and let them know that you want the complete TMNT series on DVD and that it is essential that these episodes not be overlooked. It would also be a good idea to ask for all of the Turtle Tips shorts that originally aired on CBS between episodes.

Here is the contact information for Lionsgate:
Home Video PR Contact: Katie Walsh - 212.386.6894

If anyone calls the phone number, please let us know your results!

You can read more about this at The Technodrome.

Thanks to gobo for keeping on top of the situation.
