IDW Limited to Release TMNT 2012 Annual Deluxe: Time Capsule Edition

On Thursday, February 5th, IDW Limited will be offering a brand-new way to experience the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the artwork of their co-creator, Kevin Eastman. 

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Annual 2012 Deluxe: Time Capsule Edition is an exclusive, hand-signed and numbered, tray-cased book that comes packaged with Eastman's original layout and blue line sketch for one page of the final published book. Each book will contain a completely unique layout and blue line sketch, showing the step-by-step process from idea to execution. 

This exclusive collectible offers a new level of insight into Eastman's creative process and is unparalleled in rareness and collectibility. 

Limited to 60 copies, each book will be available for a price of $495. 

A 225-copy, limited-edition, signed and slipcased hardcover of this title will be available for $125.

TMNT Toys Now at McDonald's

This past weekend, McDonald's restaurants launched a new Happy Meal promotion featuring a set a six Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toys based on the Nickelodeon cartoon. Each toy features a figurine on a base, along with an additional spin-top base. Spin toy figures toward each other and have a ninja battle!

The six figures available are: Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael, Donatello, Shredder, and a Foot Soldier. Look for them at your local McDonald's for the next 3-4 weeks.

Nick Toons to Air TMNT 4Kids Cartoon Dec. 22-28

For the first time since acquiring the franchise in 2009, Nickelodeon will air episodes of the 4Kids Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon series on their Nick Toons cable channel.

Beginning on Monday, December 22 and running through Sunday, December 28, episodes will air in four-hour chunks, from 5pm-9pm ET/PT. The entire first two seasons are scheduled to be aired.

Check your local listings to verify what time the episodes are on in your town.

Bebop & Rocksteady Confirmed for "Ninja Turtles" Sequel, New Director in Talks

While at a recent convention in Brazil, "Ninja Turtles" producers Brad Fuller and Andrew Form confirmed to Omlete that Bebop and Rocksteady will be joining the cast of characters for the sequel, expected for release June 3, 2016. They also say they are hoping to fit Casey Jones into the story.

Variety is also reporting that Earth to Echo director David Green is in final talks to replace Jonathan Liebsman, who is currently busy filming "Shannara."

This year's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film hits DVD and Blu-Ray next Tuesday, December 16.

Rob Paulsen to Host Live TMNT-Themed Podcast

Rob Paulsen's podcast, Talkin Toons, will be recording a laundry list of TMNT special guests. The show will be December 9 at 8pm at the Hollywood Improv.

Headlining the show is TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman. Also joining the show are Townsend Coleman, Cam Clarke, Barry Gordon, Pat Fraley, Renae Jacobs, Judith Hoag, Ciro Nieli, Brandon Auman, and more!

In addition to recording a live podcast, the event will also be raising money and toys for Toys for Tots. Tickets are a steal at $15/each, and if you bring in two toys to donate to Toys for Tots you'll be able to get autographs from everyone in attendance.

IDW Announces "Mutanimals" Mini-Series

IDW has announced a new four-issue mini-series that will feature a familiar band of non-turtle mutants as they team up to become the Mutanimals.

Beginning in February 2015, the series will be scripted by Paul Allor, with interior art by Andy Kuhn.

When someone close to the Mutanimals goes missing, the team consisting of Old Hob, Slash, Mondo Gecko, Herman the Hermit Crab, and Pigeon Pete will be put to the ultimate test. Teamwork doesn’t exactly come easy to these outsiders, but they’ll have to find a way to work together to take on a mysterious new entity known as The Null Group…

"Danger of the Ooze" Video Game Now Available on Xbox 360 and PS3

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Danger of the Ooze," the newest TMNT video game based on the current cartoon series on Nickelodeon, is now available for Xbox 360 and PS3. It will also be available on Nintendo 3DS on November 11.

The game features:

• Play as your favorite Turtle Switch between them anytime
• Battle new enemies from the hit TV Show not yet seen in a TMNT video game
• Fight villains with all new combat system to earn XP and upgrade your characters
