To celebrate the 30th anniversary, RedditGifts is currently accepting signups to participate in a TMNT-themed gift exchange. Signups are open now through July 7. Participants will then be matched with another fan, to whom they are to ship a gift by July 25. The suggested value of the gift is $20.

Participation is easy and is open to fans worldwide.

2. The morning of July 7, 2014, we will close sign ups and our computer program will choose who you should send a gift to (this is the most important part, this is about the giving!)
3. Once you come back here to pick up your match's information, you'll have until July 25th, 2014, to ship your gift. When you ship it, keep a receipt and come back here to tell us you've shipped it. If you buy your gift through the redditgifts Marketplace there's no need to keep a receipt or mark it shipped, we'll keep track of all of that for you!

"Ninja Turtles" Movie Tie-In Game Announced for Nintendo 3DS

Activision has announced a tie-in game for the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. While the movie has a release date of August 8, the game just has a general release date of "August."

Nintendo Life reports:

[The game] will take the form of a third-person action game that will let players switch between the four turtles at any time. Each turtle possesses his own set of stats and skills, with Raphael, as a given example, centering on strength and Michelangelo focusing more on speed. Classic foes will show up as fodder to face off against, including the Foot Clan and Baxter Stockman's scientific abominations.

Interestingly, one of the released screenshots features Slash, obviously influenced by the character's appearance in the Nickelodeon cartoon. It seems likely that despite an obvious attempt to emulate the appearance of the movie, the game might not actually have much in common with it.

Crush soda is celebrating the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie with a promotional tie-in that gives fans an opportunity to win a free ticket to see the movie.

Now shipping to stores are six TMNT-themed flavors: Orange (Michelangelo), Grape (Donatello), Strawberry (Raphael), Berry Punch (Leonardo), and Pineapple (April O'Neil). The special TMNT labeling can be found on 20 oz bottles, 2-liter bottles, and 12-packs of 12 oz. cans. However, not all flavors are available in all sizes. Codes found inside the cap or box can be redeemed at http://crush.hiprewards.com.

Codes found inside the 20 oz. and 2-liter bottles have a 1-in-10 chance of winning a free ticket, while codes inside the 12-pack boxes can be "banked;" bank 6 codes to receive a free movie ticket.

This Sunday's new episode of TMNT isn't quite the Season 2 finale, but it is the end... for now. The show will be going on hiatus for the summer (so we can all pay attention to the movie coming out in six weeks). So be sure to watch, and then rematch the whole season from start a few times so you'll be extra-ready for new episodes in the Fall!

Social Media Campaign Reveals 4 New TMNT Posters, Trailer

Yesterday, Paramount launched a social media campaign encouraging people to tweet which Turtle "team" they are on through the website TurtleReveal.com. Once a Turtle reached an unspecified threshold of votes, a new character poster for the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie would be revealed. Once all four posters were revealed, a new "exclusive" trailer was promised. By the end of the day, the Leonardo, Michelangelo, and Raphael posters had been revealed. Donatello was then revealed this morning.

And, as promised, the reveal of all four posters was followed up with the release of a new trailer.

TMNT Cartoon Gets a Season 4, Seth Green Joins Cast as Leonardo for Season 3

With the second season still airing, Nickelodeon has announced that it is giving the go ahead for season 4 of its current Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles CGI cartoon. Also announced is that when season 3 begins airing in the fall, Seth Green will be stepping into the role of Leonardo.

Speculation has been growing about Jason Biggs, who has been the voice of Leonardo since the debut of the show in 2012, being recast, as in recent weeks Leonardo has been voiced by substitute voice actor Dominic Catrambone.
